Drive my computer

This online pair of articles by me and Jan [https://www.dailygazette.com/nippertown/culture/let-me-drive-my-car-please/article_fa3cb8ed-33d3-5a95-b1a2-6cb0c5a19c45.html] comes with a back story.

Jan and I had previously joined forces in print, in the form of a dialogue about the film 1917, and Jan wanted to do it again, this time in the form of parallel reviews of the film Drive My Car. I was quite happy to go along for the ride (pun intended), so we did the thing, publishing it on the website Nippertown, and with a link from my blog, Get Visual.

I had seen the film, and wrote a full review. Jan, it turned out, had not – but that was no impediment to him writing his own rumination, titled Drive My Computer. He only told me after we had published that he never actually saw the film. Oh, that Jan!
